Flanders Community Theater: East Lyme, CT 2006-2008 Producer, Director, Performer :  A Community Theater of teachers, administrators, school staff, parents, artists, musicians , friends, and families, dedicated to presenting high quality musical entertainment. All proceeds after expenses ($19,000) were donated to The Tommy Fund For Childhood Cancer.

PROJECT MIND, Creator, Director, Teaching Artist 2001-2002
Haynes school students were relocated to Camp Rowland, a National Guard Training Camp site, for an entire month at the end of 2002. Project Mind was a comprehensive artist residency program in all grades simultaneously, integrated directly into the curriculum. All twenty classes worked with professional artists on long term projects that accessed their multiple intelligences and presented them to their peers, and the public. This project was the focal point of the curriculum in all grades for the entire month of May and June 2002. Job requirements included raising all funds, hiring and scheduling all artists workshops, performances, and spaces, writing nine student plays, five songs, supervising specialists schedules, gathering all props and costumes, and directing school reading assembly, parent information assembly, and Board of education presentations

S.T.A.R. (Students Terrific Artistic Renditions) Literacy and Friends

Second Graders from Haynes School in East Lyme and Winthrop School in New London, CT work with professional dramatists, musicians, and visual artists, to bring literature to life, as they make new friends with students from a different socioeconomic background.

Carillon Historical Park, Dayton Ohio
Playwright- “A Matter of Balance” Featured play to celebrate 100 years of flight (2003). This play was selected as a featured presentation as a prelude to a speech by President Bush

Mystic Seaport, The Museum of America and the Seas
Playwright , (1996) Fishtory. A participatory play about fishery history with three
actors. Saturday is Their Sabbath Day - A monologue for one actor about the
life of a worker in Greenmanville (site of Mystic Seaport Museum)

Norwalk Maritime Center in cooperation with Cooperative Educational Services of Bridgeport,
Playwright, Stage Director, (June 1996) for pilot project "Dr Livingsound's Great Adventure" A student participatory play about Long Island Sound.

Creative Connections
Creative Arts Parenting Program- (1989-95)
Carol worked with incarcerated mothers and their children, teaching them creative skills, and fostering their self esteem to improve their parenting skills.
Artistic Director Star Theatre, (1991-1997) a touring theater of young teenagers with social and emotional challenges.
